Your Community; Your Voice!

I’m Andreas Moffett, and I’m here to make your voice heard. I’ve served LRR on the Board of Trustees and the ARB. I listen to you, and I take action that gets results for our community.

For example, as a resident, I mediated the pickleball dispute at Rec #3. I took a week off work, listened to all sides’ needs, analyzed homeowner interests and community obligations, and proposed solutions that were fair to all. My efforts resulted in the fair resolution of a 1.5-year dispute, and balanced neighborhood community interests with individual property rights.

I’ve shown that I’m an unwavering voice in speaking up for what’s right in—and for—the community. I’m ready to continue being that voice for you on the Board. Let’s work together to build an even better LRR; one where all neighbors are heard, respected, and valued.

Priorities

Here’s what I focus on as a board member:

  • Your Interests: Board members are fiduciaries. I’ll focus on protecting your property’s value; its value to you as your investment, and its value to you as your home in NoVa’s most desirable neighborhood.

  • Community: I believe in an LRR where everyone feels heard and involved. In each board decision I make, I’ll treat you as a neighbor and a homeowner, not a “paying customer.”

  • Transparency: I want to make it easy for you to communicate with the Board about its decisions, and increase Board accountability. I am for open communication between board members and homeowners.

  • Your Input: As our community grows, your input is more valuable than ever. You’ve told me that traffic safety, amenity improvement, and ARB standards and transparency are important to you. Share your input with me, so it can inform my service to LRR!
